Dodd City, Texas -- Sam Rayburn junior Jamison Dorris went 3-for-4 including a home run, scored four times and drove in five runs to help the Rebels rally past the Dodd City Hornets, 16-7.

Sam Rayburn scored three runs in the top of the first inning, but Dodd City plated a pair of runners in the bottom half of the frame and scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a 5-3 lead.

The Rebels took control with 11 unanswered runs in the next two innings en route to a 16-7 win on the road.

Dodd City's Cash Crossland and Weldon Garner both had a pair of hits. Garner drove in two runs.

Sam Rayburn's Case Nichols, Clay Caldwell, Cooper Robison and Conner Rich all finished with two hits apiece.

Caldwell drove in three runs, while Reese Amlin and B. Binford had two RBIs.

Dodd City (2-7, 2-4) will host Tom Bean on Tuesday, March 25 for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
