Bonham, Texas -- The Bonham High School girls and boys powerlifting teams were competing at the State Powerlifting Meets for the past two weekends.

The Bonham girls lifted in Edinburg over Spring Break.

Cassie Godbey (Sr-220) finished 10th.

Cassie also made 1st Team - 2025 Academic All-State Team (95-97 average for all four years).

Haley Capehart (Soph-148) finished 12th.

Alexcia Wilson (Sr) was a State Alternate.
Alexcia also made Elite Team - 2025 Academic All-State Team (98- 100 average for all four years).

The Bonham boys competed in Abilene this past weekend.

Zeke Romero (Jr-132) finished 12th.

James Ostrom(Sr-114) finished 6th.
