Denison, Texas -- The Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site is offering a free U.S. history review for the STAAR Exam to local high school students.
What can you expect to see on the exam? What are the most important concepts and facts to understand?
What will you be expected to be able to do to receive a passing score? We can answer those questions and
more. Don’t do just “good enough”. Go into the exam with the knowledge that you are prepared.
On Wednesday April 16, a certified teacher with 33 years of experience teaching U.S. history in Texas’ public schools will conduct review sessions for the upcoming exam in a friendly, relaxed environment. If you or your student are anxious about the exam or do not feel adequately prepared, we are here to answer your questions and boost your confidence. We will do our best to tailor the review to the needs of each student.
