Dodd City, Texas -- Three Trenton pitchers combined to throw a two-hitter in an 11-1 win over the Dodd City Hornets.
Trenton went up 5-0 in the top of the first inning. The second and third innings were scoreless, but Trenton scored another five runs in the top of the fourth frame to take a 10-0 lead.
Both teams tacked on a final run in the fifth inning to give Trenton a five-inning 11-1 win on the road.
Nolan Yowell got the start for Trenton and the win, tossing two innings on no-hit ball.
Relief pitchers Landry Yowell and Collin Reim each gave up one hit.
Maddox Lappin and Weldon Garner had one hit apiece for Dodd City.
The Hornets (3-9, 3-6) will travel to Ector on Friday, April 4 for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
Trenton will travel to Ivanhoe to play Sam Rayburn on Friday.
