2025 Texoma Piano Competition to be held April 26; Registration open through April 14

Durant, Okla. – The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Department of Music is hosting the 2025 Texoma Piano Competition on Saturday, April 26. 

The piano competition is open to all pianists, ages 6-18, who reside or study in Oklahoma and Texas. All performances will take place in the Fine Arts Recital Hall, where competitors will enjoy playing on a Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand Piano. 

Pianists who may be interested in showcasing their talents and passion for piano performance are invited to visit www.SE.edu/music/texoma-piano-competition/ to register. Registration fee is $35 and registration deadline is April 14. 

The competition provides all participants with a platform to exhibit their musical abilities while receiving constructive criticism.
