In district action on Monday, April 7, the Ector Lady Eagles posted a 10-7 win over the Dodd City Lady Hornets.

Ector sophomore Adalynn Dederick went 3-for-3, including a double and a triple, scored once and drove in a run. Freshman teammate Ainsley Greathouse was 2-for-3 and scored twice. Aleea Wheeler had a pair of hits and drove in two runs. Aspen Harrison also had two RBIs.

Ector's Audrey Arie struck out 11 and scattered 10 hits to get the win.

Sierra Garcia, Gracyn Shindler, Ralyn Daniel and Adisen White all had two hits for Dodd City.

Ector will host Trenton on Tuesday, April 8.
