Peggy Roland Jack

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 21, 2025 at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with John Cannon officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Petty, Texas.
Peggy was born Jul. 5, 1937 to Christopher C. Roland and Julie Sorrels Roland in the Dial Community, south of Honey Grove, TX. She graduated from Honey Grove High School in 1955 and from Paris Junior College in 1957. She married Gerald Jack Feb. 22, 1957 at the Dial Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.
She retired from a career in banking in 1997 which lasted twenty-four years at various banks in the different cities where Gerald’s career changes took them. She was a member and President of Tempo Music Club, Merry Makers Bridge Club, Four Seasons Bridge Club, and Third Wednesday Bridge (LOL). She was a member of DAR. Her family, church family and church were her life. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything, and spending time with them meant everything to her. Her dog, Coco, was her constant companion. Bridge with her friends and working in her yard were her favorite past-times.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Survivors include children, Gary Jack and wife Laura, Jeanne Kraft and husband Wally, James Jack and wife Kelly, Ray Jack and wife Brandie; grandchildren, Chris Jack, Callie Jack Tate, Trey Kraft, Jack Kraft, Eric Kraft, Melanie Kraft Butts, Marissa Jack Madding, Jessica JackDavis, Kelcey Jack, Alli Belle Jack; two great-grandchildren, J.T. Tate and Jesse Davis; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
