Waco, Texas – The American Federation of Government Employees local representing Department of Veterans Affairs employees here will be rallying Saturday to stop the attacks on the federal workforce that are impairing veterans’ access to health care and benefits.

Since President Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20, federal workers have been disrespected, demeaned, and degraded by Elon Musk and the Trump administration. AFGE members, civil servants, lawmakers, and community supporters across the country are raising awareness about the disastrous attacks and how they are impacting federal employees and the services they provide.

Nearly one-third of VA employees are veterans themselves, and their work on behalf of all military veterans is under attack.
