Donald's life was marked by his career as a truck driver, a profession that allowed him to provide for his family while traversing the vast landscapes of the country he loved. His work ethic and commitment to his job were
unparalleled, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and all who knew him.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Russell Patterson.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Patterson, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering support; sons, Ron Patterson and wife Joy, Randall Patterson and wife Kristi, and Matt Reeves; daughter, Natalie Morton and husband David; grandchildren: Candice Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Blake Patterson, Kyra Patterson, Lance Morton, Kirk Morton, Kaycee Patterson, Dalton Patterson, Rusty Patterson, Eric Patterson, Corey Patterson, and Reghan Reeves.
Donald also leaves behind an abundance of
great-grandchildren and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Allen Point Baptist Church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Kevin Towery will preside.
