Another great playoff game for coach Jim Gatewood as his McKinney North Bulldogs win 1-0 in the bottom of the 8th inning. Great pitching, great fielding and spectacular work in the outfield by the Bulldogs' defense!

Brooks Neson, pitched a complete game with no runs against a tough team from Lufkin, Tx in the first playoff game to start a UIL 2025 State Championship run. A bottom of the 8th win by 1 run turned out to be an exciting game for McKinney North. The game was played at a neutral playoff location at Crandall High School on May 1, 2025.
