“We are incredibly proud to receive the OLC Exemplary Status, which highlights our commitment to delivering an outstanding online learning experience for our students," said Andrea Butler, vice provost, e-learning. “This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff, who are focused on ensuring that all students, no matter where they are, have the resources and support they need to succeed. This distinction is not only an honor but a testament to our ongoing efforts to continuously improve and enhance our online programs.”
Dallas College is one of only 10 community colleges to earn this distinction. The institution earned an impressive score of 81 out of 88 points on the OLC Scorecard, proving that it meets high standards for online student support in admissions, career counseling, financial aid, library access, student orientation and support for students with disabilities and veterans.
Dallas College is committed to ensuring that this recognition sets a standard of service for current and future students. The college will work closely with OLC to explore new ways to improve its online student experience.
