Festival Highlights Include:
Veterans Reception – Join us Thursday, May 29, at 5:30 p.m. as we honor those who have served our country with a special reception presented by United Ag & Turf at the Choctaw Community Center. This cherished annual event, featuring guest speaker Sgt. Brad Dierlam, U.S. Marine Corps, will include dinner and a custom flag drawing.
Opening Ceremonies – The festival officially kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, with the Opening
Ceremonies on the Cherokee Communications Stage. Experience the spirit of the Magnolia Festival as community leaders, cultural performances, and special guests come together to welcome attendees.
8 Seconds Movie Screening – Relive the classic rodeo film 8 Seconds under the stars at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29. This outdoor screening will capture the heart of the rodeo spirit as part of the festival’s celebration of
Oklahoma’s western heritage.
Vendor Booths – Shop over 150 vendor booths throughout the festival, offering a wide variety of handcrafted goods, local products, and unique finds from across the region.
Food Truck City – Satisfy your cravings with a diverse selection of food trucks, serving everything from festival
favorites to exciting local dishes. Open each day of the festival.
Carnival presented by Cardinal FG – Thrill seekers of all ages can enjoy carnival rides, games, and classic fair treats, open throughout the festival.
Live Demos, Stickball, Social Dancing, and Youth Art Show Daily – The Choctaw Cultural Center will host live
demonstrations, stickball and social dancing, and a youth art show, providing a unique opportunity to experience
Choctaw Nation’s rich culture and appreciate local young artists.
Downtown Festivities – Join the Magnolia Festival 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, May 31, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the First Texoma National Bank parking lot. While downtown, browse local vendors at the Magnolia Farmers Market at Market Square.
Children's Activities – Our local banks will be presenting a wide range of activities for children throughout the festival - and don’t miss out on the Turtle Races on Saturday at 11:00am. For this year’s competition, (Kids 12 and under) bring your own turtle and compete amongst your age group to receive a new bicycle.
Performances by Shawnda Rains Entertainment on the Cherokee Communications Stage – Enjoy high-energy performances by Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group starting 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, featuring talented local dancers and entertainers on the Cherokee Communications stage.
PRCA Rodeo – Experience the thrill of professional rodeo on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. at the Durant Riding Club Arena. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
Live Music by Jaden Hamilton and Bailey Rae presented by Discover Durant – Close out the festival with an outdoor concert by country music artist Jaden Hamilton and The Voice star Bailey Rae on Saturday, May 31, at 7:00 p.m. This dynamic performance is sure to be a highlight of the weekend.
