Sherman, Texas -- Grayson Pride is proud to announce that their Pride Prom is back again for another year. The event will be held at the Sherman Municipal Ballroom on Saturday, May 31 from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. This year’s theme is an “Enchanted Evening: A Celebration of Pride and Magic.”

Grayson Pride board president JoAngeli Kasper said, “This isn’t just a prom—it’s a celebration of you. Whether you’re in middle school, high school, or an adult who never got to experience prom as your authentic self, this night is for our entire LGBTQ+ community, including allies."

“In a time when being out and proud is still a brave act, Pride Prom is a safe, affirming space to come together in joy, connection, and love,” continued Kasper.

The evening festivities will include karaoke, snacks, mocktails, music, dancing and community. Security will be provided in an LGBTQ+ friendly venue.
