Constantine Masonic Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M. in Bonham recently awarded several $1000 scholarships as well as the Mirabeau B. Lamar Medal and Certificate of Excellence to selected Bonham High School and Dodd City High School graduating seniors.

Johnny Neal, Sean Floyd, and Sam Sellers of Constantine Lodge made the BHS presentations at the Senior Awards Ceremony at Bonham High School. 

The proud recipients were RaDawn Bracco-Cain, Heath Brown, and Landry Claire Person. 

Johnny Neal and Charlie Stephens also made presentations at Dodd City High School to Katie Ferguson and Caylee Mills.

Constantine Masonic Lodge #13 has taken great pleasure over the past several years in sponsoring these scholarships and supporting Bonham and Dodd City graduating seniors.

Mirabeau B. Lamar was the second President of the Republic of Texas and was also a Mason.  He is known as the father of the Texas Public School system because his work resulted in the State of Texas setting up a public school system.
