Jerry's life was quiet and fulfilling. He was a devoted farmer and rancher, a man who knew the value of a hard day's work under the wide Texas sky. His hands were as familiar with the inner workings of farm machinery as they were with the soft fur of his cattle. When he wasn't tending to his land, Jerry could be found working at Tyson. He faithfully devoted many years of service to them.
Jerry's roots ran deep, with his character molded by the hands of his parents, H.C Junior Harlan and Bonnie June Ford Harlan, and his grandparents, Henry and Gurtie Harlan, Jim and Opal Ford. They all preceded Jerry in death along with his wife, Nikki Harlan. Jerry is survived by daughter, Meagan Harlan and significant other, Randy Hiberd, and grandson, Gavin Johnson.
