  • KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is June 19-22, 2025 at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco
  • Women's National Football Conference Championship Weekend is June 20-22, 2025 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, TX

About KPMG Women’s PGA Championship | Website: KPMG Women’s PGA Championship | Official Website | KPMG Women's PGA Championship

What: The most prestigious and second-oldest women's golf Major Championship

Where: This event marks the first women's Major Championship, and second Major Championship overall, to be played on Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco, the Home of the PGA of America and Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa. This edition of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship will be the first in its over 70-year history to be played in Texas.

Who: The Championship showcases the best female players in the world, including 2024 KPMG Women's PGA Champion Amy Yang, competing on a world-class course for their place in golf history. Other notable players expected to compete include Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko and Minjee Lee.

Why: With one of the highest purses in women’s golf, the best players in the world descend on Frisco to take on the majestic Fields Ranch East course designed by Gil Hanse. Additionally, programs and initiatives surrounding the KPMG Women's PGA Championship focus on the development, advancement, and empowerment of women on and off the golf course.

The female golfer population today is not only growing, but also more diverse than ever. Females make up a larger proportion of beginners and juniors than their representation among on-course participants overall. There are nearly as many female golfers under the age of 30 as there are over the age of 50. So, not only is women's golf gaining momentum, but it's also carving out space on the leaderboard for the next generation.

Saturday, June 21 is “Junior Golf Day” at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Each ticketed adult can bring up to four (4) kids ages 15 and younger into the Championship for free any day of the event (June 19-22). On Saturday, junior golfers who register for the day’s activities are treated to behind-the-scenes tours, fun photo opportunities with the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship trophy, and reserved seating on the 9th green. Reserve your spot here.

The National Golf Foundation continues to report a rise in the number of female golfers year over year, with more than 7.9 million women taking to the green in 2024, a 13% increase from the previous year. Junior golfers, ages 6-17, increased by 6% to 3.7 million. Furthermore, a 2024 report by the National Golf Foundation reported women and girls make up approximately one out of every four green grass golfers.
