Greenville, Texas -- This summer the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum will be hosting Camp Liberty. This year’s theme will focus on the American Revolutionary War era. All of the arts and crafts, games, songs and demonstrations will relate to the theme.
For example, some of the activities will include making a liberty bell, creating a battle scene diorama, making a tri-corn hat, doing a science experiment involving static electricity and learning about the revolutionary war, Ben Franklin and George Washington. These are just some of the activities that will be taking place during the program.
The week long camp program will be for 6-10 year olds from 9:00-12:00. It will take place July 15-19th and will cost $70. To register your child please call (903) 450-4502. The museum is located at 600 Interstate Hwy 30 in Greenville, TX.
