Judge Cunningham,

I want to say that I am of the opinion that you may have taken part in placing Fannin County and its citizens in a very perilous position, and eight innocent people and the families that love them in a state of worry they have never known. Through your continual posturing and support of these ill conceived and erroneous indictments that were made and will soon be quashed and sent back for no evidence, Fannin County and its citizens may well be liable for more money than we can gather up. I’m confused. It appeared to me that you thoroughly supported these indictments and thought they were just fine. Now it appears that the Dallas County District
Attorney says they are unfit, and they should be returned very soon for lack of evidence. Would not you as an attorney understand this before you cast your support. I suppose when we hire a retired lawyer from the metroplex to run our business affairs, we should have known what to expect. Apparently, we did not.

On the brighter side, this morning you have an opportunity to do something REALLY GOOD for our county. RESIGN YOUR POSITION AS COUNTY JUDGE! QUIT! Right now today. Resign your duties and walk away with your head held as high as you can hold it before doing any further harm to our citizens or their pocketbooks. Your help is no longer helping.
