Heber Springs, Arkansas -- An Arizona angler wanted to chase brown trout on the Little Red River recently. So, Little Red fishing guide Mike Winkler had Mark throwing big articulated streamers toward the banks. This brown trout (below) ate a Kelly Galloup pattern, which has the name "Dungeon" and something else in it for some reason, making this a happy trip for Mark.
A lot has changed in midweek on the Little Red with the generation, but it won't hurt the streamer action.
In the photo below, Brandon Mills from Little Rock holds another Little Red River brown trout he caught while fishing with Winkler. Like Mark, Brandon was throwing big articulated streamers toward the banks, and this brown trout ate a Kelly Galloup pattern called a Flatliner.
