Lewisville, Texas -- Upper Trinity Regional Water District continues to host free and informative webinars, “Water Talks,” to help homeowners save water and money. Two upcoming Water Talks will help residents better manage their sprinklers while following the mandatory two-day-per-week watering schedule.

The first Water Talk, “How to Program Your Sprinkler Controller,” will be July 28 at 12 pm. Quintarus Thomas, Irrigation Specialist and licensed irrigator with Upper Trinity, will explain the functions and features of sprinkler controllers. During this Water Talk, residents will be able to
“Ask the Expert” and receive answers related to controller programming. Residents are encouraged to sign up to ask questions beforehand.

The second Water Talk, “Benefits and Advantages of Drip Irrigation,” is scheduled for August 6 at 12 pm. Drip irrigation is one of the most efficient watering systems, and Quintarus Thomas will discuss how long and how often drip systems should be operated and will explain how to maintain and make quick fixes for common issues. Thomas will also discuss how drip irrigation can be utilized during watering restrictions.
