McKinney, Texas -- The McKinney Lionettes won the first set, but the Plano Lady Cats held on for a 25-22 victory in a pivotal second set and then followed up with wins of 25-16 and 25-14 to take the match.

Sophomore Trinity Ellis paced the Plano attack with 16 kills.

Lionettes played hard and fast and won the first set. Plano pulled out the win at McKinney High School on August 26, 2025.
