Eastbound traffic will take Exit 642 onto the eastbound frontage road. Motorists should continue east along the frontage road, then turn south on the southbound frontage road to Lamberth Rd, then take a left, cross over the bridge, take a left on the northbound frontage road and travel north to the US 82 eastbound frontage road, take a right, and re-enter US 82 using the next available entrance ramp.

Westbound traffic will take Exit 642B onto the westbound frontage road. Motorists should continue west along the frontage road, then turn north on the northbound frontage road to Loy Lake Road, then take a right, cross over the bridge, take a left on the southbound frontage road and travel south to the US 82 westbound frontage road, take a right, and re-enter US 82 using the next available entrance ramp.

During this period, TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution. Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
