This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Monday, September 2, 2025, in the Council Chambers of the Sherman City Hall, 220 W. Mulberry St., Sherman, Texas, for the following items. The Meeting at which these Ordinances are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

Adopting a Budget and Providing for the Appropriation of Funds for Operating and Capital Expenditures for the Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2025 and Ending September 30, 2026; Declaring that this Budget Will Raise Less Revenue from Property Taxes than Last Year's Budget by $3,742,155 which is a 9.1% Decrease from Last Year's Budget. The Property Tax Revenue to be Raised from New Property Added to the Tax Roll this Year is $3,496,261; Providing a Savings/Repealing Clause, Severability Clause and Effective Date; Providing for the Publication of the Caption Hereof

Approving a Negotiated Settlement between the Atmos Cities Steering Committee ("ACSC") and Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division, Regarding the Company's 2025 Rate Review Mechanism Filing; Declaring Existing Rates to be Unreasonable; Adopting Tariffs that Reflect Rate Adjustments Consistent with the Negotiated Settlement; Finding the Rates to be Set by the Attached Settlement Tariffs to be Just and Reasonable and in the Public Interest; Approving an Attachment Establishing a Benchmark for Pensions and Retiree Medical Benefits; Requiring the Company to Reimburse ACSC's Reasonable Ratemaking Expenses; Adopting a Savings Clause. Declaring an Effective Date; Requiring Delivery of this Ordinance to the Company and the ACSC's Legal Council.
