Blue Ridge, Texas -- Leonard's Leah Stoy and Bella Neaville combined to knock down 33 kills during a five-set thriller in Blue Ridge on Tuesday, but the night ended with the Leonard Lady Tigers falling in a tiebreaker.

Leonard took the opener, 25-18, but it was Blue Ridge with a 25-22 win in the second set.

In the third set, Leonard held on for a 25-23 victory.

Blue Ridge returned the favor with a 25-23 win in the fourth set.

In the tiebreaker, Blue Ridge came out on top, 15-10.

Stoy knocked down a team-high 19 kills, Neaville finished with 14 kills, Avery Ross slammed down six kills, Madison Jones had five kills, Riley Brown put down three kills and Ava Flowers had one kill.

Flowers handed out 47 assists.

Olivia Aylor had a busy night with a team-leading 23 digs and Emma Houser had seven digs.

Blue Ridge improves to 21-11 for the year and 3-1 in District 11-3A.

Leonard is now 27-3 on the year and 3-1 in District 11-3A with a match against 4-0 Gunter on Friday, September 26.
