Durant, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University is proud to announce another semester of record enrollment, as the student headcount for Fall 2025 officially went over 6,000 students today.
The month of September will end with 6,012 students enrolled in full or partial Fall 2025 terms -- an increase for the sixth fall in the last seven years.
Notably, this number includes 3,389 undergraduate students, a 5.3 percent increase compared to the Fall 2024 numbers.
“Our 116th year at Southeastern is off to a wonderful start with more students enrolled than we’ve ever had,” said Southeastern interim president Dr. David Whitlock. “The Southeastern story has resonated with these students as they’ve chosen this wonderful place to continue pursuing their educational futures.
“Our admissions and recruitment teams have brought students from all over our state, region, the nation, and the world to study with our fantastic faculty. Everyone on our campus is dedicated to providing an excellent experience for our students as we prepare Southeastern graduates to meet the needs of their communities.”
