Leonard, Texas -- The Blue Ridge Lady Tigers took sole possession of second place in District 11-3A with a four-set win over the Leonard Lady Tigers. Both teams came into the contest with 6-3 district records.
Leonard defended its home court with a 25-21 victory in the opener, but Blue Ridge took the next three sets, 25-23, 25-19 and 25-23 to win the match.
Bella Neaville led Trenton with 13 kills, Leah Stoy knocked down nine kills, Riley Brown put down seven kills, Avery Ross slammed down six kills, Madison Jones finished with four kills, Ava Flowers had a pair of kills and Olivia Aylor had one kills.
Flowers handed out 39 assists.
Aylor had a team-high nine digs.
Emma Houser led Leonard at the service line with four aces.
Jasper Cunningham had three aces and one dig.
Leonard (6-4) will travel to Gunter (10-0) on Tuesday, October 21, while Blue Ridge (7-3) will host Bells (5-5).
