Dodd City, Texas -- The Dodd City Lady Hornets improved to 20-13 on the year and 3-0 in District 21-1A with a three-set win over the Savoy Lady Cardinals.

Dodd City posted wins of 25-8, 25-17 and 25-15 for a sweep.

Addison Weeks led her Lady Hornets with 19 kills, Gracyn Shindler knocked down nine kills, Kodi Dorau    finished with four kills, Kaleigh McBrayer put down three kills, Caroline Lackey had a pair of kills, with Kendyl Lindsey and Taylor Voss each collecting one kill.

Shindler handed out 12 assists, Freeman had a team-high 15 digs and Weeks led Dodd City at the service line with seven aces.

Dodd City will host Savoy on Tuesday, October 21 before closing out district at Ector on Friday, October 24.
