Southeastern announces 2025 Homecoming Week schedule of events

Durant, Okla. – Southeastern Oklahoma State University will host numerous events for students, alumni, and friends of the University for its annual Homecoming Week on October 27 through November 1, 2025. 

Events earlier in the week are geared towards students on campus, including presentations in the Legacy Speaker Series. 

Alumni events are focused on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, culminating with the Savage Storm football game against Henderson State at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1. This game has also been designated as Champions Day celebrating the 2005 Lone Star Conference North division champion football team and champions from the NAIA era in tennis and golf.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 27
Noon – Legacy Speaker Series: James Dry speaks to Choctaw First Year Initiative students – Russell Building
7 p.m. – Student Event: Homecoming Block Party and Monster Mash Costume Contest – Behind Student Union

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28
3-5 p.m. – Student Event: Terror Tailgate – Theatre Building Parking Lot
7:30 p.m. – Combined Choirs Concert – Bell Tower Event Center

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29
8 p.m. – Student Event: Movie Night (Night at the Museum) – Spend Life Wisely Stadium at Paul Laird Field

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30
9 a.m. – 38th Annual Whang Bang Golf Tournament – Chickasaw Pointe GC
6:30-8 p.m. – Safe Trick or Treat – The Loop

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31
11 a.m. – Legacy Speaker Series: Amanda Cobb-Greetham speaks to leadership groups – Liz Cobb McCraw Auditorium
2:30 p.m. – True Blue Friday: Snowcones & Bolt – Front Lawn
6:30 p.m. – Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet – Hallie McKinney Ballroom
8:30 p.m. – Bonfire and Pep Rally – Amphitheater

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1
11 a.m. – Tailgate Alley Opens
2 p.m. – Football Homecoming Game and Champions Day vs. Henderson State – Spend Life Wisely Stadium at Paul Laird Field
