Featured Guest Speaker: Brian Hander
We are honored to welcome Brian Hander as our guest speaker for October. A native of Denison and graduate of the Denison school system, Brian earned his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he met his wife, Erin. He now serves as a pharmacist for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Beyond his distinguished medical career, Brian Hander is a passionate advocate for local history and community development. He has authored several books that explore Denison's rich past, with all proceeds going to support public art and city improvements.

Brian’s commitment to Denison is evident in his years of public service. He previously held the Place 6 seat on the Denison City Council and currently serves on both the Denison Public Library Advisory Board and the Denison ISD School Board.
Brian and his wife Erin live with their son in a historic home in downtown Denison, which they lovingly restored.
