McKinney, Texas -- The Melissa Cardinals were the final district team to compete against the McKinney North Lady Dawgs. Melissa was defeated in 3 sets.

For the first time in McKinney North High School's history the Dawgs went undefeated in District play. 14 wins - 0 losses.

North, ranked No. 4 in Class 5A, will have a bye going into the state championships.

McKinney North has some freshmen who are major contributors in this super-tough district. Brynli Burgess (#2) is one of those players.
