Leonard, Texas -- In a warm-up game played Monday evening in Leonard, the Leonard Lady Tigers defeated the Saint Jo Lady Panthers in straight sets.

Facing the No. 5 team in Class 1A, Leonard posted wins of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-17 for the sweep.

Leonard's Leah Stoy led all hitters with 16 kills, Bella Neaville knocked down eight kills, Madison Jones came through with six kills, Riley Brown finished with four kills, Ava Flowers put down a pair of kills and Avery Ross had one kill.

Flowers dished out 35 assists to her Lady Tiger hitters.

Olivia Aylor came up with eight digs, Emma Houser had six digs, Avery Eaves got under one dig, Jasper Cunningham contributed one ace and Caroline Holton had one ace and one dig.

In bi-district action, the Lady Tigers (33-7) will take on Chisum at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30 in Bonham.
