TXB donates well over $1,000,000 to essential nonprofit
Bonham, Texas -- TXB, a family of customer-service-oriented convenience stores and quick food operations, hosted its 29th Annual Fishing and Golf Classic, raising nearly $200,000 in donations for CASA, a child advocacy nonprofit benefiting children in foster care.
The event was held on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, hosted at Lake Texoma in North Texas with the fishing tournament on the first day and the golf tournament on the second day. By the end of the two-day event, TXB raised nearly $200,000 adding to its already generous $1,000,000 donated in support of CASA.
“We have worked hard to support CASA over the years through many donations and this year, it feels especially wonderful as it’s the highest amount we’ve raised – nearly $200,000 – through our Annual Fishing and Golf Classic,” said Kevin Smartt, CEO at TXB. “This event allows us to continue to give back to the communities we operate in across Texas in a big way and contribute to such a great cause that helps kids throughout Texas in really big ways. We are thrilled to hit this incredible milestone.”

TXB’s exceptional commitment to giving back is a mission they live out every day, not only by engaging with their communities throughout Texas, but also by serving the causes that matter to them most through action.
