Bonham, Texas -- Legend Bank has begun serving customers from its new full-service branch in downtown Bonham and bank officials were on hand Monday, November 17, 2025 to begin welcoming friends and customers.

Using materials including brick and stonework that reinforce the traditional downtown heritage of one of the oldest towns in Texas, the main entrance on the new branch faces the towering 1888 Fannin County Courthouse.

Legend Bank started serving customers in Bonham in 2007 when it purchased Bonham State Bank.

Legend Bank’s Branch Manager, AVP, Carolyn Stroud, has been serving customers in Bonham for 45 years.

“I’m honored to have worked with our Bonham customers for so many years. They mean so much to us, and we’re thrilled to officially open our new full-service branch to continue serving them,” said Stroud. “We’re grateful to return to the square with a full-service location offering lobby and drive-thru access, plus an ATM with Live Teller services for extended hours, including Saturdays, to better meet our customers’ needs.”
