Addison, Texas -- Celebrate the holidays with Vitruvian Lights at Vitruvian Park in Addison! On Saturday, Nov. 29, the magical wonderland with more than 1.2 million sparkling LED lights wrapped around 468 of the park’s trees will host a special event featuring fun for the whole family.

At 6:00 p.m., Dallas String Quartet will take the stage, playing a fusion of fun holiday classics as well as pop and rock staples on both traditional and electric strings. The musical group has performed for former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, as well as for the NFL and NBA. They have shared the stage with Ed Sheeran, Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde, among others.

The event, which continues until 10 p.m., also will feature gourmet food trucks, sweet treats, FREE photos with Santa, live reindeer, letters to Santa with Mrs. Claus, classic holiday characters, an elf balloon artist and a 3D walk-through gift box illuminated with LED lights. The entire event is perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.

Following the special event on Nov. 29, Vitruvian Lights Bite Nights will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, when food trucks will pull up near the park’s Amphitheater to give guests perusing the lights a chance to warm up with food and drink available for purchase. 

Visitors are encouraged to walk or drive through Vitruvian Park to enjoy the beauty of Vitruvian Lights. This is the 13th annual season sponsored by UDR and the Town of Addison. 

Parking for special events ($15, cash only) is available onsite and accessible from Bella Lane and Ponte Avenue, as well as at the Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex.
