Dallas, Texas – The Dallas Firefighters Museum is kicking off the holiday season with one of its most beloved community traditions – Santa at the Station, a free family event taking place Saturday, November 29, from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The Museum is located at 3801 Parry Ave. in Dallas.

This annual celebration invites families from across North Texas to step inside the historic fire station, experience the magic of the holidays, and enjoy a special visit with Santa Claus himself. Guests can explore the Museum’s historic and educational exhibits, meet Santa and enjoy a festive day in one of Dallas’ most iconic landmarks.

Admission is free and includes Santa visits and complimentary entrance to the Museum, where families can learn about the courageous legacy of Dallas’ firefighters while participating in holiday fun.

Event Highlights:

  • Meet and take photos with Santa inside the historic Dallas Firefighters Museum
  • Explore vintage fire engines, artifacts and educational displays
  • Enjoy family-friendly activities and holiday helpers on hand to guide guests
  • Doors open at 10 a.m., and visitors are encouraged to arrive early. The line will begin forming at 9:30 a.m.

“Santa at the Station is one of our favorite ways to welcome families into the Dallas Firefighters Museum, celebrate the season and share the history of Dallas’ firefighters in a joyful, memorable way,” said Trixie Lohrke, president of the Dallas Firefighters Museum. “We are thrilled to open our doors once again for this annual tradition and spread a little holiday cheer throughout our community.”

The Dallas Firefighters Museum – home of the legendary Old Tige, Dallas’ original 1884 steam engine – continues its mission to preserve the rich history of fire service while providing fun, educational programming for families year-round.
