The Dodd City Lady Hornets have opened the 2025-2026 basketball season with victories over Celeste and North Hopkins.

On Friday, November 14, Dodd City defeated Celeste, 47-34. Addison Weeks poured in 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, Kodi Dorau knocked down nine points and Gracyn Shindler scored seven. Kendyl Lindsey grabbed eight boards and put up three points. Kennedy Chaney also had three points and Kayleigh McBrayer tossed in two points.

On Tuesday, November 18, the Lady Hornets put away North Hopkins, 50-24. Weeks led the way with 31 points and Shindler was also in double digits with 10 points. Dorau finished with four points.
