
Dodd City held a slight edge throughout the first half, leading 10-7 after the first quarter and 19-17 at the half.
In the third period, Dodd City outscored Tioga 14-7 to take a 33-24 lead into the fourth quarter.
Tioga rallied to whittle five points off the Lady Hornets' lead, but Dodd City held on for a 40-36 victory on the road.
Dodd City senior Addison Weeks put up 31 points and pulled down six rebounds, Kendyl Lindsey and Kodi Dorau both finished with four points and Kayleigh McBrayer hit a free throw to round out the scoring.
Lindsey grabbed six rebounds, Dorau had four rebounds, McBrayer nabbed a pair of boards and Makayla Camp had one rebound.
Lindsey dished out four assists, McBrayer had three assists and Weeks had two assists.
The Lady Hornets will host Mt. Vernon on Tuesday, November 25, with tip-off at 11:00 a.m.
