Well Newt, the voters and residents of Fannin County have for months been asking you to resign the office of Fannin County Judge. Your only reply has been to continually complain that the courthouse has not been completed.

You have asked contractors to redo and or complete some tasks and they have readily done so. And yet you have continued to harp and whine about the general condition of the project.

Four good commissioners say the job is complete, despite what you think. You vehemently disagree, without being specific and yet you continue to occupy the office space of the county judge.

Like a child you stamp your foot and refuse to sign off on the construction completion. This, consistent with so many of your stands, just doesn’t make sense.

Now, like the courthouse or leave it, before the voters toss you out of it.

Their time draws near.
