Honey Grove, Texas -- Arthur Frank Boehler, 95, of Paris, TX was born at home in Michigan Prairie, Fannin County on January 26, 1930, to Frank Boehler and Willie Mae Phillips Boehler and lived in Honey Grove for most of his life. He went to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family.

During his life he was a farmer, machine operator, hunter and fisherman and served in the Army in the Korean War. But his greatest love was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He went to as many every day and special events as he could for each of them.

Survivors include sisters Hattie Sherwood, Tommie McDowell, Ruth Logan and Mary Franks, brother James (Mary) Boehler; his special friend and companion of over 20 years, Jean Ottmo; daughters Paula Jean (Rudy) Franco, Denise (Clifford) Leach and son, Bryan (Valary) Boehler; Grandchildren Kara Browning, Frank Clinton Fry, Matthew (Amy) Leach, Renee (Kelly) Keeling, Rachael Boehler, Christopher (Kristen) Boehler and Callie (Chris) Baker; Great-Grandchildren Kolton Keeling, Cassie Browning, Natasha Whipkey, Kalem Whipkey, Kyndal Keeling, Jaxx Leach, Veronica Browning, Aubri Baker, Maddox Whipkey, Adley Baker and Easton Boehler, many nieces and nephews plus a host of loving friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elizabeth Wall and Matha Mann, and brothers, Jimmy Earl, Phillip and William Boehler.

Family visitation will be held at Cooper Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove, TX on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with graveside service immediately following at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lamar County at 11:30 a.m.

The family would like to thank the staff of Paris Regional Medical Center and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate care in Daddy’s last days and The Home Place, Colonial Lodge and Chambers Home Health for their loving care in the past few years.
