McKinney, Texas -- The McKinney Boyd Broncos improved to 3-3 in District 6-6A with a nine-point win over the Princeton Panthers.

The Broncos hit the floor running and led 19-13 at the first buzzer. In a decisive second period, McKinney Boyd stretched its lead to 34-22 at halftime.

Princeton managed to outscore McKinney Boyd 38-35 in the second half, but McKinney Boyd's early lead held up for a 69-60 victory.

The loss drops Princeton to 2-4 in district.

The Broncos will host Plano West (4-2) on Tuesday, January 13.
