Fannin County, Texas -- John Tynan of Ivanhoe, Texas has decided to serve his friends and neighbors as the next Fannin County Judge.
Our freedom allows every citizen the opportunity to serve in the government of the people for the people at many different levels. I have chosen the office of Fannin County Judge for many reasons, most of which is I desire to do the duties of a public servant. I have no agenda in this endeavor, no one pulling my strings or placing me there to serve an unknown agenda.
I am one man that desires to serve with a heart that belongs to God, my wife Christi Tynan and my friends and neighbors. I made this decision after many prayers and discussions with my family and friends. I have been training for this objective for many years without the knowledge of anyone but God and myself.
I am currently employed with Fannin County Precinct 3 road and bridge department. I have worked under two commissioners, Jerry Magness, retired, and Kurt Fogelberg, currently.
Working at the ground level for Fannin County was by design as I planned to run for elected office in the future. This process has given me an advantage in the election as I have firsthand knowledge of the obstacles that our commissioners go through on a day-to-day basis. They need a Judge that will have their backs because they are servants themselves to the citizens of their precincts. This along with my law training, corporate training, and pastoral leadership training, I am ready and excited to be our next Fannin County Judge.

Please remember to vote in every election, Pray, Vote, Pray. We must all do our part to ensure our county stays our county, no city agenda in our county business. I will do my part to keep Fannin County for the citizens of Fannin County.
