
Dodd City's Addison Weeks scored 17 points in the opening period as the Lady Hornets raced out to a 21-3 lead.
Gracyn Shindler had the hot hand in the second quarter, putting up 10 points in a 29-2 run that gave the Lady Hornets a commanding 50-5 cushion at the half.
Dodd City went on to outscore Campbell 21-7 during the final two frames to earn a 71-12 victory on the road.
Addison Weeks led all scorers with 23 points, Gracyn Shindler scored 16 and Kodi Dorau was also in double figures with 10 points.
Kayleigh McBrayer knocked down nine points, Carla Medina scored seven, Makayla Camp finished with four points and Kennedy Chaney chipped in two points.
Kendyl Lindsey came up with three steals, deflected three passes and dished out a pair of assists. Caroline Lackey had two steals and a deflection.
Weeks had a game-high six rebounds. Shindler and Weeks each had five assists.
Shindler had a team-high nine deflections that led to steals and Weeks was close behind with eight deflections.
Weeks grabbed eight steals, followed by Shindler (5), Camp (4), McBrayer (3), Lindsey (3), Dorau (3), Lackey (2), Medina (2) and Chaney (1).
Dodd City's next three games are on the road, as the Lady Hornets travel to Fannindel (Jan. 16), Miller Grove (Jan. 20) and Ector (Jan. 23).
