McKinney, Texas -- The McKinney North Lady Bulldogs were in action Tuesday night against the Sherman Lady Bearcats.

McKinney North took control early with a 15-4 run in the first quarter and led 24-11 at halftime.

The Lady Bulldogs went on to outscore Sherman 29-18 in the second half to pull away for a 53-29 win.

With the victory, McKinney North improves to 6-2 in district, while the loss drops Sherman to 1-7.

The Lady Bulldogs  travel to Anna on Friday, January 22.
