Bonham, Texas -- Una Jo Warner passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on August 1, 1932, in Dodd City, Texas, the daughter of Thomas and Lela Kennedy. Una's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Una married William Earl Johnson, with whom she lovingly raised six children. After his passing, she found companionship once again with Jim Warner, who became a devoted husband and a cherished grandfather, affectionately known as Pa Pa-Jim. Throughout her life, Una exemplified strength and resilience, embracing her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Una dedicated many years of her working life to Burlington Industries, she later retired from Walmart as a cashier. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Denison, Texas.

Una is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lela Kennedy, husbands William Earl Johnson, and Jim Warner, son, Michael Glenn Johnson, step daughter, Earlene Young, brothers, Herbert Kennedy, Paul D Kennedy, James Kennedy, Dickie Kennedy, sister Billie Maza, and son-in-laws, Billy McKoin, David Payne, and Jeff Barnett.
Una is survived by her children, Karen McKoin of Bastrop, Lousiana, Sharon and Mark Sanders of Savoy, Texas, Penny Payne of Pottsboro, Texas, Donna Barnett of Pottsboro, Texas, Tina and Gary Frederick of Whitewright, and step son William Jimmy Lee Johnson of Lubbock, Texas, siblings, Margaret Thomas, Thomas Kennedy and wife Sandra, John Harold Kennedy, Reba Kennedy, Linda Kennedy, Jackie Kennedy and wife Vickie, sister in law, Elaine Kennedy, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Una's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. A visitation will be held an hour prior starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons; Jeffrey Sanders, Dustin Grimes, Bradley Grimes, Johnson Barnett, Zaiden Toney, and Lance Johnson. Honorary pallbearer, Chris McKoin.
