Corey went to school in Dodd City through tenth grade then relocated to Waller, Texas, where he graduated high school and worked for several farms and ranches, including a custom harvest crew through the Midwest. He then became a committed truck driver, finding pride in his work. He was especially grateful for the opportunities to work with his uncle J.R. and his grandfather, Robert, sharing his passion for life and family with those he loved. His connection with family extended beyond work; he cherished every moment spent with his son, Kase, nurturing a bond that will forever be remembered.
Corey's interests were as diverse as his personality. He had a love for golf, roping and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. He was an avid history enthusiast, finding joy in documentaries that explored the past. An engaging spirit, Corey often gathered with friends and family to play dominoes, sharing his warmth and laughter.
