Grayson County, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials have announced an upcoming bridge replacement project scheduled for Grayson County.
Highway 19 Construction of Sulphur Springs, Texas was granted $2,742,957.97 and 255 working days to complete the project at the following locations:
· Calf Creek Lane at Calf Creek
· Whitney Road at Calf Creek
· OB Groner Road at Choctaw Creek
· Plainview Road at Harris Creek
This project involves replacement of existing bridges and approaches at each location and is scheduled to begin on February 18, 2026, weather permitting. The contract is projected to be completed by March of 2027.
During construction, temporary road and lane closures will be in effect. Drivers are required to exercise caution and follow signs, observe barricades, and reduced speed when approaching work zones.
