
The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a pre-parade block party near the Nike parklet along Windrose Avenue. Guests can collect commemorative beads, enjoy live DJ entertainment, and take part in festive face painting. With over 20 restaurants and eateries on site, Legacy West offers plenty of options for guests to dine before or after the parade.
The Fat Tuesday Parade sets off at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Worth Street and Windrose Avenue. Featuring the Townview Big D Band, widely regarded as one of the top high school marching bands in the nation, the parade will travel down Windrose Avenue and culminate in a high-energy finale performance at Legacy Hall’s Box Garden.

Parking & Street Closures:
Parallel parking along Windrose Avenue will be unavailable throughout the day. Garage parking is recommended. Windrose Avenue, from Worth Street to Legacy Hall, will be temporarily closed from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. to accommodate the parade.
