More than a dozen top Plano restaurants
share their fare in gala evening
Plano, Texas -- Since 1991, the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, named to honor acclaimed former Plano ISD Superintendent Dr. Wayne Hendrick, has been providing Plano ISD graduates who have overcome significant adversity with scholarships and support services to promote success in life through education. Each year, the foundation’s signature fundraiser, TASTE, raises significant funds to provide scholarships and mentorship for dozens of students.
This year, the chic soiree event will be held on Thursday, March 5 at Mercedes-Benz of Plano and features Celebrate: Decades of Dedication as its theme. Honorary Chair Rutledge Haggard is the epitome of commitment to community and will meet guests at a VIP reception and will be interviewed on stage by the event emcee, Rikki Ragland. But the real stars of the event are the Hendrick Scholarship recipients who will interact with attendees and share their stories.
TASTE brings together more than a dozen of the region’s top restaurants to share their finest dishes with event attendees. The following restaurants will be at this year’s event.
