Bonham, Texas -- Mable London, 90, of Bonham, Texas passed away on March 1, 2026, at Clyde Cosper in Bonham. She was born on August 8, 1935, the daughter of William Thorton Hailey and Melviney Weaver Hailey. Mable lived a life full of purpose and compassion, leaving a legacy that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Mable was united in marriage to William Randall London on December 19, 1955. Together, they shared many loving years ranching, until his passing in 2005. Mable’s devotion to her family was unwavering, and she found joy in the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bonham for many years.

Mable proudly graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, and a Master of Science from Texas A&M Commerce. She dedicated many years as the Home Demonstration Agent for Fannin County. She also managed the cafeteria at Bonham ISD for numerous years and later dedicated many years to Bonham VA as a dietitian.

Mable is preceded in death by her parents, William and Melviney Hailey, beloved husband William Randall London, son John Randall London, grandson Patrick Lantz, and siblings, William Hailey, Richard Hailey, Lester Hailey, Betty Clevenger, and Johnny Hailey. 

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Stroud and husband Billy, Beth Hannes and husband Kevin, and Hailey Dent and husband Kevin; granddaughters, Jennifer Medina and Jill Beaton; grandsons, Clint Jones, James Hannes, and Ryan Lantz; great grandchildren, Maddox, Asher, William, Olivia, Eloise, and Thomas; along with numerous Hailey nieces and nephews.  Mable London will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Funeral services in honor of Mable London will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Willow Wild Cemetery.
