Denison, Texas -- TxDOT’s Travel Information Center north of Denison will host a “Keep Texas Clean” environment event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Mar. 20. The center is located at 6801 N U.S. Highway 75 in Denison, Texas.

This community-focused event encourages Texans and travelers alike to join together in supporting a cleaner, greener state. Attendees will learn about the importance of environmental stewardship, litter prevention, and sustainable travel practices. The event will feature educational materials, activities, and opportunities to get involved with statewide beautification efforts.
The Denison Travel Information Center welcomes families, volunteers, and local partners to participate and help keep Texas a beautiful place to live and explore.

TxDOT’s 12 travel information centers promote tourism to and within Texas, provide visitors with a vital rest stop, offer vending for snacks and beverages, serve as a Wi-Fi hot spot and provide travel assistance from travel counselors. The centers and counselors create a positive first impression of Texas, help travelers choose travel routes and provide detailed information on destinations, events and road conditions.
